I would like to have one here in the TX FORUM.

We could place it below the TX EE .

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ????????

Anyone else think this is a good idea.

I think it's a good idea.....As long as the items that you're no longer want/need only. Any trade items, buy or sell...will risk the thread being locked or trashed.
Of course, Staff or GB has the final say on this matter.

he PIF thread can stay here, as stated by mojo NO FOR SALE items. This will be a I have ... who wants, first come first serve and then the next person steps up and "pays it forward"

We have had several PIF threads through out the various boards and for the most part 99.9% everything has gone off without a hitch. BUT be advised there is always the chance of someone doing a "grab and run"and theres not a whole lot you or we as staff can do about it.

Another thing to consider is ..... feedback .... some threads post it , some dont. After all this is a friendly giveaway/trade transaction and not a buy/sell transaction. So feedback isnt necessarily required by EE standards. So if feedback is posted by some and not by others dont get your whitey tighties in a bunch if it doesnt happen.

multiple items are allowed in such that ... I have 5 of these who wants ONE ? This gives 5 different people involved in the process. Not someone grabbing all 5 of the items. Lets be friendly AND fair in this.

Also lets keep ALL transactions legal and above board. Another thing I suggest is that all transactions be conducted within the thread itself and NO IM transactions other than shipping information. This keeps the back door snipers out of the picture and no one will get upset over a lost opportunity.

nuff said on the base rules. This being said, consider this a staff approved opportunity to further the fellowship of the Tx HTF if Mojo and FAL have no objections. The ball is now in their court.

I've got 8 .50 cal ammo cans from a Cabelas clearance. Some are dirty inside and some are good condition, seals all seem to be good. I'm too lazy to clean and paint the insides. Right now they are being used as a coffee table but the misses says they have to go.

What we should have is a "Hodge Pod" build party, everyone like in
Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, ect..... bring all the spare stuff to a coordinated
build party, in your town and see what could be built out of all the spare stuff,
Of course, bring your own lower, but this way it would let more people
meet other members. or have a table setup for everything that was brought for
the donation table and draw numbers for what's there.

I like this idea. Between all the spare parts from all the members in each city, there is probably enough to assemble a complete AR-15 (and maybe one of the industry partners or dealers can donate a stripped lower). Then we could raffle the completed gun to raise funds for a good cause.

I'm confused.

You want me to give away a lower, or host a build party?
