Interesting case with marijuana laws being regularly broken.

selective enforcement of the law is tyranny.

The story here is that Kansas overwhelmingly passed this law, but now remains silent when the law requires them to act on behalf of Kansas citizens.

GD will be useless.  You local guys need to get involved.  Kansas' motion was feeble and ineffective.  Obviously the Constitutionality of the law is being challenged since two guys are on trial that broke no state law.

From what I followed: Jury selection was Thursday 11/08/2016 and conviction Monday, I would think Veterans day was a holiday.

Jury returns guilty verdicts in Kansas gun case
WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A jury has found two Kansas men guilty of federal firearms violations in a case that repudiates a Kansas law that purports to prevent federal prosecution of anyone owning firearms made, sold and kept in the state.

A jury Monday evening convicted Shane Cox in eight counts for illegally making and marketing firearms. They found Cox not guilty in two other counts involving possession of a destructive device. Kettler was found guilty on one count for the purchase of a gun silencer from him.

U.S. District Judge J. Thomas Marten told jurors the case would likely be appealed because of the issues involved with the state law. Marten says he can’t change the law at this level, but he anticipated the U.S. Supreme Court might eventually review the case because the issues are this important.

This will go further....Here is AG statement.  I'm curious if those who pursued these charges will be charged in KS courts....IIRC, the Act supports charging them.
