Name is Jim, I live in Park City. I'm retired, but making money to buy toys by teaching the Kansas Concealed Carry Handgun course. I shoot at the Bullseye indoor range in Wichita where they have an excellent 100 yard indoor rifle range as well as 25 yard pistol range. The rifle range is real nice in that they will allow just about any cartridge up to .375 H & H as long as the bullets aren't armor piercing - they check your ammo with a magnet -
I shoot an AR with an RRA A4 Varminter upper (24" stainless Wilson barrel) that will group 1/4 inch or better at 100 yards, and I'm in the process of building a dedicated lower for my CZ V22 .22LR upper. I bought a Superior Arms stripped lower for $89.95 from AIM surplus. It has VERY NICE fit and finish, and the guys at Bullseye stock the complete DPMS parts kit to install in a stripped lower. I put it together early this afternoon and it functions well in the non-firing tests so far. Waiting on my collapsible carbine stock to arrive from "Cheaper Than Dirt". It should be here Wednesday or Thursday. I'll probably use this lower as the basis for another .223 AR as a CQB type 16" carbine so I'll have something to shoot the 3-gun matches with. Jim |

ARFCOM, just a short way to say AR15.COM. A lot of folks couldn't mention the dreaded black rifle out loud at work but they can say ARFCOM and nobody calls HR. |
