Is the shooting range a good place to go?

I haven't been there yet but others have told me you have to shoot through concrete tubes... you have to take your own target stand and targets as well...no metal...if ya want to check it out one of these days message me and I'll give you my contact info......

I think I might roll by there tomorrow and see what's what. Probably won't shoot, but just look around.

There is a public range in Union about 20 minutes south of Spartanburg. They have brems at 25 and 100 yards.

I've been there, but it was many years ago.

As said, you shoot through concrete culverts buried in a dirt bank.  the ranger told me it was to keep rounds from going over the berm.

When I was ther they had plastic barrels for target stands, but that was awkward.  One range goes out to 200 yds, and If I remember correctly the other was 100 yds.

They also have an archery course.

This is the only SCDNR range that I visited that had an on duty ranger.  As I say it was many years ago and tings may have changed
