I just got a call for an interview with a company that said they are union. With North Dakota being a right to work state, where does this put my rights if I am hired? Can I simply just decline to join the union?

I chose not to join the union where I work, but it may depend on the job.

Would a non union electrician expect to get a job out of a union hall?

Don't know anything about how it works.

Got the word that if I am hired I do not have to join because of right to work. I am really starting to enjoy the little things that stack up quickly in ND compared to MN. Can't wait to get back
