I've got to visit the DC Navy Yard in a few weeks. Where can I park within reasonable walking distance but off base?

There is usually street parking available around First & M St SE, Half and L SE, and along Tingey St. SE. Occasionally you'll get lucky on 8th St. There's also a parking lot on L St near the barracks, but I'm not sure if it's open to public. |
