Relatively new online and was just stopping in to say hello. I've lived in DC since 1982 and currently live on Capitol Hill next to Lincoln Park.

I'm right now in Texas going to school but finishing up in the Spring Semester so will be going back home soon. My time in Texas was -- interesting. Had to adjust to a number of issues but new experiences are good fer ya! Let's see, had to adjust to Apartment living again, the people here were a trip, the attitudes were interesting. It is my first time living in "fly over" country. I learned a lot about "Red Staters'" which has both given me hope and simultaneously depressed me. I guess this experience has made me comfortable with the ARFCOM community.

I got a chance to renew my enjoyment with gun ownership here in Texas. I've always enjoyed target shooting ever since I was in the military when young. Had to rid myself of my AR-15 and revolver I had in the military when I got out and moved into DC. Back then, you were not even allowed to own them in your home. My father hunted a lot and I'd go out with him where I grew up in Western Pennsylvania so it was a fond memory of sorts.
