I will be attending training in Dover 23-25 this month and I am certain there are several places the locals eat.  Don't need fancy, but locally owned good food is my preference.   I like almost anyhing and I try to avoid chains when I travel.   I know NOTHING about Delaware, much less Dover.   I have a car and my evenings are free to grab good grub.  Let me know what you think.

Yukon is a good place if you like Korean and sushi.
Most of the better restaurants are up northr.
Firebirds has great Steaks.

A few local favorites are:
- Restaurant 55 for a good burger & beer selection
- 33 West for the beer selection and good food
- McGlynns tavern for some good food (can be a bit pricey)
- Franco's pizza

It's not green anymore It burned down a few years ago and has been rebuilt. Everything there smells like fish though

Thumbs up for 33 West (downtown) and Yukon. Francos (Rt 10 by the base) has the best cheesesteaks. Shuckers Pier 13 is okay, decent food and not too pricey. McGlynns, Cool Springs and Rest 55 are a bit more $$.
Cool Springs and Shuckers' for seafood....

If you travel down Rt 1 a little to Milford there's the Georgia House and Abbots Grill.

La Tolteca near the racetrack is my favorite Mexican spot in MD or DE. Sometimes the service is a little slow, but the drinks are great and the quality of food is always top notch. They have a large menu as well so it's more than just tacos, burritos and enchiladas. And you can probably get out for under $20 with booze and tip.
