Prerequisites: Must be a US Citizen

Cost: $325.00 per person ($600.00 per couple or Buddy Team)

Course Description:  This course provides students with the knowledge and necessary skills for the safe and effective utilization of NVD’s. The course format includes primitive classroom instruction followed by practical application drills and culminates in a scenario based field training exercise.

Familiarization & Operation of NV Unit & Accessories

Handling & Storage During Mission Use

Signaling & Marking

Common Task Training

Individual Movement Through Rural Terrain

Team Movement Techniques

Scenario Based Exercise


Required Gear & Equipment: NVD, extra batteries, headgear, (2) IR CHEM lights, white light, filtered light, small back pack, whistle, Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK), appropriate clothing for rural conditions, water & snacks.

M4 Training simulators are included with the course fee.

Lodging: Primitive camping is available on site at no additional cost. A list of local accommodations will be provided once registration has been completed.
