Toronto is big, whereabouts will you be visiting folks?
My family is there, we go up there about twice a year. In the summer we usually stay at the Residence Inn on Minthorn Drive in Markham. Reasonable room rates, free parking, free internet, free breakfast. In the winter we've been staying at the Westin Prince, which is more expensive but closer to where my parents live. Downtown hotels are closer to the big city action but you pay more and parking, internet, etc. are not included in the basic rate. The good news is that the Canuckistani dollar is low right now. ETA: the high-class joints are the Royal York and the King Edward. |
