Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Best dog friendly hiking trails-- Glacier Lake Trail?

Anyone have any input on some good dog-friendly hiking trails that aren't insanely trafficked?  We've done Mystic Lake, which to me wasn't hard and my dog handled it fine, but I wasn't a fan of the rock field on the dog's paws so I would like to avoid trails like that.

More specifically, has anyone hiked Glacier Lake Trail outside of Red Lodge?  Based on my research, it is a short trail but I've read that the terrain is pretty rugged and very steep.  Has anyone taken their dog on this particular trail?

Let me ask the wife. She takes the dog hiking in the beartooths all the time.

Talked to the wife. Dog did okay on Glacier but it is a steep hike. Elk lake (up the east rosebud) was a fairly easy hike. Sue Charlie is flat and has a lot of people on it. Timberline was the most recent one but it was long and hard on his paws.
