Anybody get caught out in that bad weather (hail) around Ashland the other day?  They are saying we could get round two in the early hours tomorrow and again tomorrow afternoon.

Last hailstorm for me was just after my divorce--5/5/03.  My car got dented to hell.

I drove through it Monday. Hail, Tornado sirens, trees blowing over. Had to stop at Bobo's to wait it out lol.

I'm totally unwilling to try and drive through it.  I'm lugging my laptop home and I'm going to wait it out until there's a clearing before I leave the house.

Yeah, I can deal with the wind and rain- since I have a new roof.

But I do not want to have hail again-- the reason I have a new roof.

Some of my neighbors insist upon parking all over the street.
We will see if this storm makes them rethink cleaning out the garage.

Storms to the South have weakened the front so they have downgraded us--but as Selmer, Corinth and Ripley may still get bad weather.

Brookhaven and Jackson storm damage photos were on our morning news.
We just got a lot of rain.  My gauge showed 1.5 inches.  It's windy out there now.

It seemed like it rained all night.

I live on a few acres in a community were everyone has a pond. They were overflowing today.  I have never seen them that full.

I drove across the N Shore Parkway today (the bridge on the Pelatchie Bay part of the Rez)   The water looks scary high. All those homes along the Rez on the North Shore are about 6-12 inches at best from having the Rez come over their seawalls.  The elevation of some of those homes is probably less than 24 inches above that point.

Holy crap the wind!  It's blowing so hard out of the West I had to keep both hands on the wheel of my low profile car driving home today.

I just love it when the weather guy announces my town will see large hail at 7:12.

My excited face.

They are reporting golf ball sized hail in parts of AR currently.
I'm sick of rain, and sick of severe weather in general.

I can skip all the severe weather. Just give me a good rain without the threat of tornadoes or hail and I'm good.

At least I cleaned the gutters out last week.

It's here!  The satellite just went out and I hear small hail hitting the windows.

1.5 inches of rain in my rain gauge last night.
Another 1.5 came down on Saturday (4/22/17).

They are saying we could get more Friday night and Sunday.  It's going to be a wet Summer for MS.  Not looking forward to it.

Some Hail here.

Phone, Internet & Cable went out;  but, not the DVR...

So, I watched the Governors Cup & Egg Bowl, again.

HAIL STATE.

Boys were angry about no net before school.

We had marble sized hail.  At least the car and everything else were secured before it started.

My flight landed in MEM right in the middle of all that mess, a little bumpy but no major issues. Got home to find a patio rug blown over. We will rebuild.

Casa de TS shows 2" in the rain gauge.

That is 5" since last week.  Thank God I'm on the hill instead of at the bottom of it.

My lines are buried.  The entire grid has to go out before I lose power.

Mine are too. The clock was blinking at me when I got up, so I assume it was a power loss. Happens very rarely here.

Lots of tree damage in Marshall county, Holly Springs lost power for awhile, I'm seeing on the book of faces some folks still don't have power in Benton county.

I was in Birmingham for a wedding this weekend and on the drive back today I saw sporadic tree damage on the interstate.

Hope everyone got through the storm injury free.

Had the pop in at work at Hamilton, AL this morning. Some branches in the road. Couple of treess down. Some traffic lights out and the fast food joints were "cash only and limited menu" due to limited power.
