Friday May 19th and Saturday May 20th 2017

Needed for class: Tavor rifle, hearing and eye protection, load bearing vest, knee and elbow pads, good pair of boots. 6 magazines and a minimum of 600 rounds.

Classroom takes a look at the Tavor inside and out so tools and cleaning kit recommended.

Training is based on IDF's way of doing things. Iron sights, but optics can be used. Training will be on a 200 yard range.

Class is limited to 15 students.

Cost: $400.00

This is a big deal for the state, to put this on. Last year there was only one in the U.S., outside of Denver CO.

Have worked on this since Oct. I'm hoping Mississippians will take advantage of it. Have 5 from the state that have paid. Yesterday talked to a gentleman in PA trying to get his schedule set so he can attend.

There is other things in the works, some will be talked about at the IWA being held in Germany this week.

Training is never money wasted, the weapon is a great platform. Its a win/win.

LOL. Finding one isn't the problem. Paying for it is.

The last patrol rifle instructor class I took, there was a cop from Alabama who used one for the week. Cool little gun.

You will get a certification with this class, still have to qualify with it for your department.

Do understand about the cost, Trying to get Zahal or IWI to bring in a couple loaners for students. If it happens will post.
