I was selected for an any-deer permit WMD #15, and a BONUS "Antlerless" permit WMD #29. The bonus tag was an additional $13.00 mail-in. I haven't hunted any of the coastal islands in years, but I'm looking forward to the bonus hunt!

I have yet to get a buck on camera this year. Lots of does and fawns, and coons, and a fox, and I think a bobcat but no bucks

I'd say it's probably time to move the camera at this point. If you're not seeing them its because they're probably not their. Keep on'em and you'll eventually find a few good one!

I was taking my youngest son out last Saturday to try to fill his doe tag.  On the way out, I ended up hitting a deer with my truck.  Had to wait for the PD to issue a tag, we missed first light but still went hunting anyway.  I hit the deer about 1/2 a mile from where the blind is so I am guessing we scared the others that were with it away.  No deer for him but I ended up with a little 100ish pound button buck with very little damage to the deer.  I have a brush guard on my truck.  The only damage was a little crack on the drivers side bumper cover end cap.  The officer questioned if it was my truck that hit the deer because there was no damage....
