Unless I'm missing something anyone this bill covers should have already been able to carry anyway under HR 218?

Yup. NJ just wants their money that they have been losing out on because NJ cops are afraid that they will get in trouble if they don't have a NJ Carry Permit. They need only qualify once per year (twice if done in NJ), and only possess that proof along with their retired ID.

Good for the retired cops and others, but the right to carry for the rest of us will never happen, the powers that be still don't
want us to possess that Right to Self Preservation, Fuck You Trenton.
