Many of you recall the sign on the bridge in Trenton that crosses the Delaware, " Trenton Makes, The World Takes "
If I had the right people, resources and tools, I'd change that sign overnight to " The World Make$, Trenton Take$ ".

When people say nj has high taxes, we would always say, yes but our gas is cheaper.  Thanks for taking that away

Exactly. The last thing that was cheap in NJ.

This will trickle down into everything we buy too. Look for prices to go up on just about all consumable goods as someone has to pay for the new tax!!

Is it a flax rate or a variable?

Variable based on volume sold.  23 cents per gallon is based on current sales volume.  If gas sales decrease, which will most likely occur do to higher prices, and out of state commuter not filling up in jersey, then the tax increase even higher to make up for the reduced revenue.

Is that confirmed? I know they were throwing either a variable or s fixed rate around.

I'm not 100% sure, but the vote has now been delayed to Friday.  They didn't have enough votes to dispense with procedure.

fuck them, they want to pull the vote on it to read it bullshit
The bill isnt even available to read yet according to some senators.

Today was the procedural vote to fast track the vote and amendment of said bill on the same day, the actual vote will be friday.

I would be able to swallow this BS a little better if it was only funding roads and bridge repairs and upkeep, BUT no, this mother fucker is going to fund 3 new light rail projects.

So no matter what well be fucked as usual....

Fucking pieces of shit every fucking one of these scumbag lying motherfuckers.

CC veto, haha not likely that fucking scumbag lying piece of shit is salivating over his fucking failed legacy.

Everyone of them fucking scumbags need to be put down like the rabid dogs they are. We need to get rid of every damn incumbent who voted for, abstained, or voted against due to the cuts that were made

Yeah exactly some of the scumbags voted AGAINST it due to the included shitty tax cuts, they wanted no cuts just more fuck you working class bullshit.

Think about this, the people of this state couldn't rally opposition to a tax that nobody supports and effects everyone. Now think about how many people own cars in this state vs guns.

Bye, bye ar15s.

Once Murphy gets elected, you will see NJ try to run and catch up with NY, CA, CT etc.

In PA, you're not passing anyone as they don't know how to stay to the right.

Included is a raise in Lubricants tax(motor oils, etc) from 2.5% to 7%.
For my small biz that equates to roughly $11,500 to $12k annually(anally).
Brutal State, NJ is.
