Well, it certainly can't hurt.  And, if the decision is appealed (which, of course, it will be), and the 4th circuit upholds Judge Leon's ruling, THEN we have a nice clash between the 3rd and 4th circuits (3rd circuit being that governing PA, NJ, and DE - 4th being that of MD, DC, VA, and such).  But - that's going to take a while.  In the meantime, will it mean anything to our state legislators, who are just chomping at the bit to overturn Christie's AG directive to slightly loosen the noose around the necks of the law-abiding citizens looking to defend themselves, not to mention their imminent plans to complete GUT NJ residents' ability to even possess basic arms in their homes?

Not in the least.

Never going to happen in NJ for obvious reasons.

It wont help us directly but the more circuit courts that rule in our favor do ultimately help our cause. We need SCOTUS to take a CCW case and settle it once and for all, we have nothing to lose. It'll never happen through legislation here, the courts are our only hope and if SCOTUS rules against us we're just back where we started anyway.

A Trump win in November, combined with keeping a Republican majority in the Congress, could very well result in a National Reciprocity law, thereby allowing non-residents the ability to carry within NJ.  And THAT will set up a very nice 14A challenge against our own prohibitive system (because, it clearly violates the equal protection clause to have NJ deny a right to their citizens, while simultaneously recognizing that right...  begrudgingly...  of citizens of every other state).
