so......I've seen them in my neighborhood twice in north jersey, seen them a handful of times out by the Washington NJ area, and today seen one flying over the popeye's chicken in Lodi. never would have expected to see such an awesome creature in fucking lodi LOL.

.....just curious to see if others have seen them around I guess. i'm glad to see they're making a comeback, because I never even saw one in this state until 3 years ago.

I see a Bald Eagle that makes his or her daily rounds above my house often.

I live directly across the Del. River from the Philly Navy Yard.

I'm pretty sure that their nest is somewhere on the old Sunoco oil refinery property in Westville...It's 1200 acres that borders on the river.

If you'll recall a news story a few years back about a NJ tagged eagle up in Maine.  It was the offspring of the breeding pair pictured.  How's that for traveling.

Yes, beautiful pics Abuse.

We have them here at the top of the pine barrens too.
Was standing out side my buddy's place a couple weeks ago and one flew over our heads and landed in a big tulip tree a 100 yards away in the school backyard.

I worked on a job on the Delaware river in Roebling for the last 4 years. It was Bald Eagle city.
Saw one catch a black duck and carried it right toward us.
Saw them fishing alot and eating their catch on our job.
Also saw what had to be a Golden Eagle.
It was always alone. The resident Balds would seem to keep it moving past by following it. The thing was almost twice the size of the Balds. Would pass by following the river every once in a while.

I use to watch a live cam in VA until it got removed. My wife and I still support the Wildlife Center of Virginia, a non-profit wildlife hospital.
Here is a list of eagle cams across the country
Here is one from Duke's Farm in north Jersey. This pair is sitting on 2 eggs that should hatch around March 25-30

I was just talking to someone about the Duke Estate cam from a few years back. Wasn't sure if they still had it.
I used to check in every day.
Saw the chicks when they just hatched one day as well as an adult bring back a big pickrel and a turtle to feed them.

Seen them before at Merrill Creek Reservoir. Keep meaning to get over there with a camera sometime.

I saw an immature one in Ringwood a long while ago. It flew over my car on Margaret King Avenue by the police station. I never saw it again. The feral dogs and coy-dogs in the area learned to run deer onto the ice when Monksville Reservoir froze. It made it much easier to catch them. Neighbors told me that they occasionally saw eagles eating the carcasses after the dogs finished. There were also a bunch of ospreys that nested on the high tension lines in Sloatsburg, not far from the highway.
