I was just told one of our two year GSD's littermates needs a home, he is a Black and tan, if he is like ours he is at least a 100#. The owner has two other yap dogs and the GSD plays too rough.... Hello, he is a big puppy, they play hard.

I can't promise anything without talking to the wife but we have been without a dog for a year now since we had to put down our pit/sheppard mix. Is it possible to see the dog and if so, what town is it in?

Yes. German shepherd dog.
I miss my dog, had to put her down 12/31/13
She was smarter than a LOT of people.

It is a female, not a male and I am not sure what is going on, he is on his two days off
