I've found a muzzle device I like: Strike Industries "Checkmate" muzzle device (looks VERY similar to the PWS FSC556). Would you all consider this NJ legal? It's about 1/3 the cost of the FCS556 and performed equally as well (in youtube test).
What are your thoughts on the legality of this device for NJ? Thank you.

Just an update to my inquiry to Strike Industries about this comp.
I just received an email stating they could not confirm if this would be considered legal for NJ use, but did state "this is not a flash hider if that helps".
Hmm

That may have just pushed me over the edge to try this "COMP" (which advertises to have "LESS flash than comparable comps", but per SI rep "IS NOT A FLASH HIDER"
This new info may have pushed this a little more towards the black side of the gray area.
