Beware of Dog - Page 1

OK guys, anyone have 'Beware of Dog' sinage on their property? I am thinking more of to keep people out. We only have two GSDs, one is 7 weeks and really cute. And a fat St Beagle, he is more of a trip hazard. We do have a 6' fence around the back yard... that was a lot of fun, 420' of fencing I put up.

Some douche bag down the street from me has a "trespassers will be shot" sign. Within a month of posting the sign someone stole two kayaks from his yard.

Our dogs have access to the back yard whenever they want, I don't want them eating someone and getting sick. Rabbits are ok, he catches them all the time

I have one on the fence visible from the front yard, does not do any good since my dog howls at people long before they see the sign.

beware of dog signs are more for your protection from being sued if one bites someone. if you have a sign and "a person" decides to enter your yard the liability is now on them and not you.
