Yearly fee is only $60 for Range 14. It's probably as close as you'll get to an outdoor public range in NJ.

Try Easton Fish and Game Association - http://www.efga.net/
$30 for yearly membership + $30 initiation fee + $30 guest pass = $90 and it's only 1 hour away from Morris County. I just signed up. Will hope to visit soon. |

IMHO, R14 is a public range with all features one might expect at a public range (I'll leave it at that
)
They do have an annual membership, but that is to your advantage because it satisfies 2c:39-6. If you shoot less than once per month and do not regularly bring guests, R14 is economical. But if you shoot regularly, shoot for more than an hour at a time, and bring your kids and friends, that $4 per person (they charge for kids) adds up. When it was $3 per person, I was blowing $30/month. When the price went up to $4, I left. |

Also on their website, it seems they're only open on wednesday, friday, sat & sun at a certain time window. what kind of range does that ![]() |
