This morning the Governor of California signed a batch of anti gun laws further restricting the rights of the citizens.  As the legalese is fairly cumbersome and somewhat open to interpretation there is still a lot of uncertainty as to exactly what these new laws actually mean. As usual we are already seeking work arounds.





Straight pull and lever release AR uppers look interesting.  I'm not sure yet if they would actually be a legal option yet as the actual goal of the powers that be is total civilian disarmament.  But it might be something worth looking into.





Just rambling, kinda' depressed.





Anyway, someone in General Discussion linked to the Southern Gun site.  I'm pretty sure one of our British members is the owner.  I just can't remember who. Bradders?  Pesty maybe?  Who knows, might be a business opportunity.




 

Bradders still posts in GD from time to time and he produces custom built UK legal straight pull AR's to order. Upper and lowers are being made here in the UK.

He has no connection to Southern Gun.

I had never heard of such a thing. Just google straight pull ar and watched a video. That is an AR with it's ball's completely cut off. Unreal.
