The Jockinese contingent have scuppered it by saying they will oppose it.
This is just bloodymindedness on the part of the Sweaties because the vote was to bring the English Fox Hunting controls in line with Scotland's, but since the vote is seen as something the Tories want the Sweaties will oppose it no matter what.
Hopefully Cameron can get it through that only English MP's vote on English matters, and the Jockinese are told to get back in their tartan box and STFU on such matters.
American English translation please?
The Scots abandoned the Labour party and got people in the UK Parliament as MPs with the Scottish Nationalist Party.
The aim of the Tory led proposals is to amend Fox hunting laws to be the same as they are in Scotland.
This is a matter of English Law for England, but the Scots who have their own Parliament in Edinburgh (and who should have no say in the matter) are opposing it because they can. Basically, whatever the Tories bring forward, the SNP will oppose regardless.
It's an act of bloody mindedness on behalf of the SNP MPs, IMO.
