What, like all the normal small bits that make up an AR trigger group? 3 springs etc.

No compared to the timneytrigger and gold one piece drop in units

Apparently the trigger comes with good instructions and a DVD on how to install and set up.could be a winner?
Thanks

Got mine 2nd hand, but there are full instructions and videos on the JP website which were OK for me. Just take your time and follow the instructions, I'm sure you will be fine. :)

I was lucky then. Mine was a straight replacement for the factory unit. The only issue I had was that I initially got quite a few light strikes with the lighter (yellow) JP hammer spring so I re-installed the factory one which worked fine but made the trigger a little heavier. However, a couple of thousand rounds or so later I tried the JP hammer spring again (more on a whim than anything), and it worked fine. The gun had been still fairly new when I installed it so perhaps everything just bedded in a little better. It's worked fine with my V22 upper and BAR15 .223 upper ever since.

FNG here, but I was a gun writer for about 25 years (which means I'm REALLY dumb

I have the Timney, AR Gold and Wilson triggers in my ARs. The Geissele people really pissed mne off at the SHOT Show and they are difficult to install, so I shitcanned the thought of their trigger.

Honestly, the Timney is great in my house gun, a S&W M&P m-15TS with the 14˝-inch barrel; the trigger pull is precisely 4-pounds and CRISP. It's heave enough that I won't have an AD, given a bad situation (been in a few bad spots in my life) and it is working fabulously, so far.

The Wilson is wonderful, crisp and everything I could ask of a single-stage trigger.

Same comments about the AR Gold, except it is double-stage and I'm trying to get used to it.

It is wonderful that there are so many excellent triggers out there for the AR rifles. So far, I would say that my favorites are the Timney and the Wilson, but the AR may grow on me.

Here is some photos of the AR I built with the Wilson:
