Having had both like you I agree the S&B is a far better scope, did not like the USO SN3 for a variety of reasons;

too heavy
35mm tube so limited mounting options
awful to try an zero
not impressed with the build quality
shite customer service from USO.

I did manage to sell the thing though to a chap from the Republic of Califorinastan through AR15.com.

Now use a S&B CQB 1.1-4 x20 for CSR and have a 5-25 x 56 PMII for longer range stuff.

Gun Plumber ' Commando' in .22rf

.357 Marlin 1894c

Neue Arbiet has deemed my Brocock Specialist air pistol to be a Section 1 firearm…

Puting in some extra slots this week for an GSG-5 MP5 copy (Gun Plumber will be required to saw off the stupid US friendly barrel to something more sensible), and a nice .303, a Lithgow MkIII would be nice.
That's the problem with plutonium, Craven; it's limited in its application. It's not user-friendly. But as a vehicle for regaining one's self-respect, oh, it's got a lot going for it!

Yep, t shirt, red shorts, sandals with black ankle socks… must be a UKPSA shooter.

Yep....sorry about the dress code...

during school summer holidays and every chance I could get I would spend my time in the obsevation post with the guards(Turkish Defence Force in Cyprus) which was next to my home ...most of the officers and soldiers knew me and let me carry their weapons (empty and safe of course) and thought me how to clean and maintan them.........They mainly carried Lee Enfields and Thompsons so I was kind of brought up with them...(no wonder I have accumulated 8 lee Enfields....)

That must have been a while ago, I was last in UNFICYP in the early 90's and they all had G3's.

You are correct. the current issue weapon is Turkish licensed copy of H&K G3 in 7.62mm.

The photo was taken around 1973 just before the final war......

That 10/22 urgently needs a hacksaw taking to the barrel!
