Hi,

I'm going to Hungary with work. Whenever I go abroad I try to find a range where I can hire a gun but having trouble here.

All I can find is stag do type deals where you fire 5 rounds through 12 different weapons but I'm not interested in that.

Any ideas?

Best option si "Northern Hungary" aka Slovakia.

edit: To elaborate bit more: Hungary is highly restrictive, but even in Slovakia you can shoot only under supervision of licenced shooter being it range staff or your friend who happens to have a gun licence. So the best answer is to locate nearby shooting range and ask owner if you can shoot.

If you speak only English, it could be bit issue, e.g. in Prague english speaking instructor costs more to hire.. and at certain ranges you have to order one beforeahed.

Don't thnk that will be doable I'll be there 5 days working hard for 4 one day to ourselves with an evening flight.  Plus car hire etc etc

Was hoping there would be a place I could just pop along in the evening.  I'll have a look through those ranges and see how far away I am.
