This is a new place on Montgomery just west of Louisiana. The food is great, very flavorful. It is the best Indian restaurant in town.

Thanks for the heads up. New to the area and not opposed to the occasional Indian dish. Going to have to convince the wife though....

I've never tried Indian food. Mostly because of the horror stories told on tv.
What would be a good dish to try?

Curry Leaf is awesome. One of the hot curry dishes with goat or lamb works well, along with an icy cold Taj Mahal and some garlic naan bread.

Chicken Tika Massala is a classic dish. Chicken in a yummy curry type sauce over saffron rice.

Butter chicken is great. Saag paneer if you like spinach.
