I can't seem to find any clear answer on it so far via google.  Looking through the NM statues I wasn't able to find a shotgun clearly defined, but I could've easily missed it.  I'm sure one of our local FFLs has the answer already. Thanks!

Nothing in New Mexico law that prohibits them.

If they were illegal, RRA wouldn't be selling one.

Not just RRA, several shops around Albuquerque have had them.

I'm sure they have.  I don't shop at gunstores since Al Gore invented the interwebz.  Only reason I went in to RRA was I needed a part that day to go to the range.
