Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Are there any problems with guns in the Lincoln National Forest?

I'm thinking about going camping in the next month or so and was wondering if there are any isses possessing, carrying and shooting in the National Forest.  I am considering going to the area north west of Ruidoso.  



Are there any restrictions on camp fires currently?

No prob with carry of firearms in LNF in my experience. Just don't be a dick and use common sense of where you are shooting and what is beyond... pack out trash and spent casings. Most places that are not to be used for shooting are posted. Burn ban not in effect. PM if you have any other questions.
