I go out 4 wheelin in the Las Cruces area at least once a month, they are out there, but I would have to say not as many as last year, around my house I would usually have a 4 or 5 coveys of about 10-15, this year I have about 3.

Now that it is colder, haven't seen them out, Ill be out on some BLM land tomarow around Las Cruces, will update tomarow night

On the flip side, the rabbit population seems to be pretty good, plenty of cotton tails and the big eared ones, actually had a couple on the front porch tonight playing around
