Here is my HD rig:

It is a Robinson XCR.  It's a black rifle with AR ergo's but is a full piston/3 lug bolt similar to AK (I did not want to deal with DI and cleaning).  It's in 6.8 because with no military background I could not rap my mind around defending my family with a 22.  Of course, 5.56 with modern bullets is a obviously effective - but 6.8 is a step better IMO.

Very nice! It looks like the evil spawn of an ak & ar.
What optic is that?

It's a Burris XTS-135 red dot.  I thought for my purposes I did not need to spend the $dollars$ on an Aimpoint as the Burris is about 1/2 the price as an M2/M3.  However, with a cr2032 the usable battery life is probably only 50 hours at most (Burris advertises 200+). It does hold zero however.

After upgrading the grip, I will be saving for an Aimpoint...

my first gun... marlin single shot 22lr

i got this gun when i was 8 for my birthday. Shot it a little over the next few years, but not much after that. my dad was not really into guns.

well when i was 12 we moved, and i had not seen the gun since. I just thought we somehow left it at the old house/stolen my the movers etc...
Well i was up in farmington last week helping my dad organize his storage room and found it behind a bunch of other crap

so after being MIA for 14 years, she is finally home

Sweet!  The stock looks nice in that pic. My first gun (a 30-30) burned up in a fire at my parents house this year.

Horseshit, I need to dig my 'first gun' out of the gunsafe and show you a real p.o.s.

Here it is.

Stevens 'Favorite' Model 1915.

It was old and used when I got it for Christmas as a kid.

My brother and I killed quite a few rabbits, ring-tailed cats, coyotes.............and a few of Grandma's chickens with this thing.

Like a dumbass, I refinished it when I was in high school.

It brings back quite a few memories.

Wish I picked up more of them when they were $250 each.  Still kicking myself for not doing that.

You are a cold-hearted snake, dude.

But, I guess it's time to start buying Kimber's, you guys are making me feel bad owning a Taurus.

It wasnt that mean.

Taurus' are fine. I am not sure I like the looks of the rail but is has its uses.

Mine is a SW1911PD with the scandium frame. Really light in comparison to a real 1911. Slight disadvantage for shooting sports (that is the gun I won 2nd in state IDPA with) but huge advantage for daily carry.

Okay... that is the best picture so far... Its one thing to have a cool pic of your gun, another to have a cool photo, and simply transcendent when you incorporate the cat.  LOL!
I have a great one I call the "muzzle nuzzle" - my kitten curled up on my flash suppressor while I was cleaning my AR.  It just seems so wrong... which is what makes it funny.  I can't figure out how to post pics, though - I am not very computer savvy.   I have an SKS and an AR-15 that would love to be on this page (and eventually a 40 cal Springfileld XDM, if I can sell a kidney to pay it off... )

Any suggestions?

First, you need a host. http://photobucket.com/
then download, or email your pics to the site. Copy the direct link of the pic, and paste on the "add image" tag.
It is not the quickest process, but it works.

No need to use the add image tag.  When you upload your photo to photobucket, double click the image to make it larger.  The go to the IMG radial, left click, right click and copy the IMG file.  Go to your post here on Arfcom, left click, right click and paste to your post.  This works so much faster and it gives you the ability to resize your image.

Hope this helps.

About the cat, she was really pissed when I sat the rifle on her house.  Wish I had the camera in my hand when she was trying to knock it down.
