Any more info? Could just be minor. There was somebody that got shot out there several months ago. Last summer maybe. Apparently got hit by a ricochet bullet at the IDPA range. Unsure of where the round came from though. It went through the guys arms, through and through, and hit the ground beside him. He was a very heavy set guy as well. Guess he left for the hospital and then came back to the range.

Unrelated to BGC. The location was a convenient place for a command post for a search for a body in a nearby bluehole.

And BGC is closed this morning. Drove all the way out there to shoot only to be met with signs that read "Range Closed" with two Sheriff vehicles sitting at the entrance. The one I talked to say it might be open later this afternoon.
Edit to add: A further check on the BCG website shows The range will be closed for use June 19th, 20th and 21st. |

We are not sure yet when they will release the range back to us. We are hoping we will be able to open back to normal range use tomorrow but we have not had any contact yet to confirm this.
