Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Minimum Acres For Target Shooting/Practice?

Is there a minimum amount of land needed to legally shoot on your own property?  As an example, in certain areas of TX you must have at least 10 acres.  I'm thinking of buying some land and don't want to have a problem with the occasional target practice.

There's no minimum I'm aware of, you just need to be outside of the city limits. And obviously be safe about it.

Can NOT be in a platted registered "subdivision"
Even if over 10 acres
Ask me how long it took and how much it cost me to lose that one?

I lost and can't shoot on my acres any more
Neither can the other 2 neighbors that shoot out here on their acres
