Looks like the FBI is investigating Alan Crawford and Daphne Crawford.  You might remember the two, who were escorted out of the Central mall in Fort Smith in 2015.

This apparently went down in Prairie Grove.
"According to the police report, on May 24, Alan Crawford was frustrated at Mel's Diner. Alan Crawford was upset because his order was taking too long and he thought the food was too expensive, according to the report. Alan Crawford reportedly said, "Only a Christian would treat them like that," because they practice Islam.
Before the Crawford's left Mel's Diner, it is reported that Daphne Crawford said,"People like you are the reason we kill."

They got picked up, in separate counties apparently.  This couple has given trouble in the past, and local LE knows about them, quite well.

What exactly is their story?  Is it just two of them doing their own thing, or is there a larger group they play with?

I think I read some posts from some local military buddies on FB that he is on a disability pension.  As far as I know, they are completely rogue, not part of any larger group.
