Court was this morning and already done.  Not Guilty.   Again this was for Obstruction of Governmental Operation, not a weapons charge.   Judge ruled that in Arkansas you do not have an obligation to identify yourself to law enforcement. Even when open carrying.     I asked anything about Mr LEO not being on duty, not in uniform or refusing to ID himself?   To which was answered as far as the obstruction charge, it's irrelevant. Even if he were in uniform and on duty, the ruling was that we have no obligation to identify ourselves to law enforcement just because we are asked.

For a refresher he was convicted in the lower District Court several months ago.   This was an appeal case in Circuit Court which is the first court of record.  So basically it's like the first conviction never happened.

I haven't seen anything about this in the local media. Not surprising, but they were reporting on the arrest and the case way back when.
