I'm moving to Arkansas tomorrow. Rogers, near Bentonville. I had heard there was a 90 day wait period before you were allowed to purchase firearms. But then I heard that was lifted or something. Can someone clarify this for me? I want to start purchasing right away.

I've never had to wait for anything other than NFA items.

Pretty sure once you have a state issued ID from Arkansas you are good to go, and legally you are supposed to transfer drivers license and car registration within 30 days. I am unaware of any minimum waiting period to transfer it, just the 30 day deadline.

I believe, like has been posted above, all you need is your state issued DL and you'll be GTG. |

Thank you guys. I have a few gun shops real close to me so it's time to start shopping around and finding out who is going to get all my money.

The 90 days is to get your CHCL. It can be waived if you or your spouse are active military.
