Would it be possible to fish beneath the dam (on Catherine) right now or is there still too much water moving through?

I would be in my kayak. Was thinking of going tomorrow morning.
Thanks.

The water is way too fast and the level too high.

Darwin awaits you...

I'm about 2.5 hours away and I'll go ahead and say that the water level is probably crazy high like everything else right now.

Thanks for the link.  I'll keep an eye on it.

I didn't go, so Darwin was a little disappointed.  I'll watch the levels and go check it out when things calm down.

Does anyone know if you can fish from a kayak there during normal times? Or is it still too fast then?

I have a friend who lives near there. Most of the time the water is calm, especially in the morning.

All this rain has got things messed up.
