I looked and looked for someone in NWA, all I could find were those people in the NWA kiosks, and they didn't want to touch it.

I know you don't want to send anything, but CS223 here did a couple of mine, super quick turn around and it looks great.

Ident is dropping the ball so hard and often lately that I'm looking for investors to buy a laser.

Gray is getting a lot of business from them.

Whoa.  Well if you get one, I'm sure you'll get a lot of business (including mine) from this HTF alone.

I had ident do one a year ago... back when it took under a month.  Work is fine, but I think CS223 has a sharper, crisper text.

Yeah, I guess they suck at being fast now. They do have the Razorback logo like what's in your avatar on file, fwiw.

I've tried some jewelers and a buddy that has a CNC machine, but no luck with either of those.  I have a call in to a company I do business with a little that has a laser engraver, but I imagine it will be a dead end.  Might try some trophy shops???

It isn't capable of burning deep enough.

Though I don't know of any instruments capable of measuring that non-destructively (could touch off an endmill and feed down until it erases everything -- ATF would likely pull that shit).

It needs to come in, and go out to the same person, and they'll need to see ID.

I highly recommend Gray Laser Engraving in TX.  I've had them do some normal NFA engraving and some custome stuff, and it's all turned out great.  The turnaround is only a couple of days.  Got this back today.

That's a great price, and the pictures look good. Did you call in advance to have it done?

Update:  I had showcase trophy in downtown Rogers engrave my lower.  They did it for $27.  She said she does gun engravings pretty often.

Thanks for the tip on this. I stopped by there today and was very happy to pay them $27 for the engraving. It beats paying $50+ and shipping to send stuff off.

wait... if I take a lower receiver to an engraver and they refuse to do it for me, is that a violation of my civil right?    Can I sue and get lotsa money?     I think I've struck oil !
