[ARCHIVED THREAD] - World Wide Weapons in Bryant?

Just heard about it. Anyone been there yet? Guess they just opened a few weeks ago. A buddy of mine said they have lots of guns. He just bought a complete AR-15 lower for $130.00....BUT.....it's one of the New Frontier polymer lowers. I tried to talk him out of it.

Never been there but they have been there for years. It is a pawn shop that has several names. Never heard anything bad but at the same time never heard anything good either.

Really! Their web site shows "Grand Opening" a few weeks ago. Perhaps a new name Grand Opening. lol

Its been there a while.

Have alot of guns but everyone thats works there is a jackass.

The last time I was in there (a year or so ago) they had a lot of guns but prices were nuts! Havent been back. I have seen their billboards that say a complete AR-15 for $599 or $699. Cant remember which.

Been there before and after the name change. Prices as marked tend to be on the high side, but anytime I have expressed interest in a gun they have been quick to come down on the price. As far as staff, I haven't had any issues with them - they have been pleasant and somewhat helpful when I have needed anything.

I live right down the road from there and go in occasionally to drool over a Kriss .45... Their prices are high, but they stock some nice stuff. I just wish they would do something about the light rust that was starting to form on the .50 BMG grizzly's they had a bunch of last week. Oh, and don't talk too loud when complimenting a "Magnum Reaserch .22" and saying that it's a nice 10/22. One of the guys walked over and started in on me about how it was NOT a 10/22 and was much nicer, better, and more accurate. I just pointed to the ruger 10/22 lettering engraved on the side.

I spend some time in that area for work, and stopped in once. Was not impressed. Lots of guns, but high prices, staff was not helpful or knowledgeable, and the way the guns were displayed (metal racks and pegboard hooks) left a lot to be desired.
