My kids and I went to lake Fort Smith state park today. Very pretty lake with new ammenities. We rented kayaks and had a blast! My kids continued tell me how awesome it was. The park has very clean bathrooms, all new camp sites, and a pretty cool pool. You can even rent a cabin. It is definitely on our list to go back and camp. The kids have been trying to talk me into buying kayaks so we can use them everywhere we camp. They also have fishing and pontoon boats to rent at a resionable rate. It seems as though Arkansas is trying to fix up their state parks. They did a great job on this one!

Never actually done anything but drive around it, but that does seem like a really nice park.

Was there this past weekend. It is a nice place to visit and have a family outing.

We camp there with our scout troop every year for our Razorback game camp out. I believe its a state park? But any rate, its a great place and the facilities are probably the nicest I've ever seen!

I haven't been there since the new park opened. I lived at Chester (right up the road) for several years. still have the property. May build something on it someday. Lives in Ft Smith now due to work. Glad to have a job. May have to visit the park when it cools down some.
I love freedom, cause a chained dog ain't happy.

We picked up some canoes this year. with our pop up i think it will be easy to put them on top and take them camping with us. There is a store out east of rogers that has a lot of different kinds.
