Heads up with it being a few weeks out, the Lincoln Airshow is May 7th & 8th this year with the Blue Angels headlining along with other performers such as the Raptor demo team. Admission is free and you get to get up close and personal with some cool military hardware of today and yesteryear.

I'll be there working my backside off on the warbird ramp but if anyone wants to say hi I'll try to make time.

Is it still over on the west side by the old Goodyear plant? The last time I went was 16 or 18 years ago.

I'll be there. Small, but quality performer lineup. The F-22 demo should be amazing.

We aren't supposed to give out the schedule since they want people to not just show up for one or two acts, but in general these things happen in the afternoon. I'll look at the plan tomorrow, but even that's subject to change if the Air Boss calls an audible due to weather or other circumstances.

Gunfighter is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. One of Fagen's P-51s and his P-38 showed up today.

My wife works out in Fallbrook and has been able to watch the Angels practicing all week from her office window.

i hear if you're going to go, go on Saturday. the are storms coming Sunday and they might cancel or cut the flights short. looks like my daughter and myself will be there Saturday.

Pardon my ignorance, what or who is "Gunfighter"?

Also, I think I'll just watch from my apartment tomorrow which is about 1.5 miles southeast of the tarmac.

Gunfighter is the name if the P-51 out of Council Bluffs.

So, I didn't realize that the F-22 was a hovercraft.

A freaking Cessna can't even go that slow and remain in the air!
