I'm going to be in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area for work this coming summer. I'm a fan of blackjack and am wondering if they have it at the Harrah's Casino in CB. Is anyone here familiar with it? Its been awhile since I've gambled, but there is blackjack there. a casino wouldn't be a casino without blackjack... or slots.... or roulette... or craps. whenever i went, the cheap tables always filled up fast and stayed filled up. and if Harrah's doesn't have it, the other two will. |

They have all that as Rob said. The casino used to be on a riverboat, but Iowa changed their laws and so they no longer needed the boat and moved the casino into the convention area.
They also have concerts all summer at the Stir Concert Cove where they also have a Leinie Lodge...

I'm mostly interested in playing blackjack and not really that other stuff, though I could see checking it out for a bit. Do you know what rules they play there, i.e. a blackjack pays 3 to 2 vs 2 to 1, dealer hits on 17 vs stands on 17, etc?

Honestly, what's the appeal of a casino? I just can't fathom the idea of wanting to spend money in order to lose money...
