I am currently in western NE and potentially looking for a move to the Lincoln area. I am a gunsmith and would love to continue working in that field or in some sort of machining. Does anyone know of any positions open or contacts I could get a hold of for a job somewhere near there? Any help is appreciated.

There are few places that I would check out.

There's a few manufacturing companies in Lincoln that always seem to hire.

Good luck!

You might try talking with Derek at DE Guns

There's also LIberty Arms, but I don't know if they do any gunsmithing.

FYI: Lincoln has some strange gun laws on the books...

Strange is an understatement.

There are quite a few machining-oriented companies in the area. Lincoln Tool and Die is one I can think of right off the top.

Don't forget Bighorn Arms, made just east of Lincoln in Bennet.  No idea if they're hiring or if you'd be interested in more of a production environment.

I don't think liberty does much gunsmithing.
