Folks, you might consider calling your Unicameral Senator and push them to support this.  Even better Google the Judiciary Committee in Lincoln and call each Senators office asking them to vote this bill out of committee.

What is it?    It will do away with the patchwork of local firearms laws.  Only one state law.  No more Omaha registration, crazy Lincoln laws, etc.  you might think it doesn't effect you, but if you ever drive thru Lincoln/Omaha, Hastings, etc you could get jammed because you didn't know about some screwy local ordinance.
