Now now Ale... in Lincoln we shut down both major North side east/west bound roads to one lane to do road work... It is much more efficient and safe. I mean yesterday superior was only backed up 3 blocks because of a 3 car accident.... |

A couple of years back they had Pioneers Blvd, Sheridan Blvd, and South Street all completely closed at the same time. Those are the three major east-west streets in my neighborhood. It was real fun getting to work for a while. |

hey all, UncleJerr from Seward checking in
I've decided to try to invest more time in NE HTF than GD. I actually just moved to Fort Worth after graduating college, but I will always consider myself more of a nebraskan than anything. |

Just waving a hand... Wodstock and I were in NE last weekend.
Had no idea that your registration was so damn expensive. I gotta renew the SRT, gonna be $80'ish for 2 years. Still not worth it for the rest of the BS in NY. |

A lot of us live here, a good portion of the land is still owned by the descendants of the people who Homesteaded the land. The power line actually looks like it will follow existing ROWs so it'll be a non starter for most. The only time folks here get upset is when people in Government in place like Lincoln or Washington tell us they are taking land via eminent domain for some project. |

Jane Kleeb can FOAD, and for many reasons... oh she seems to have her own agenda for sure -- most of which does not jive with the thinking of the majority of nebraskans i dont think BOLD has gotten involved in this transmission line project... they seem busy with KXL most of her supporters seem to be either liberal greenies like herself, or multi-generation landowners just desperate to do anything to save their land from being bulldozed across thats a hard spot to be in, and i cant really fault them for trying every angle to protect their way of life, but YMMV |
