Probably wouldnt need hunter orange.
Since you have to be close to your game with a spear, you would hopefully see
another hunter in the area hunting too.
No hunters orange while archery hunting.

I have a flintknapped spear that I bought from the guy that used to go to the Hastings gun show. I'd love to kill something with that thing.

ive been tossing around the idea and if i get a permit this year and i get my buck early enough, i might go get a spear and try it out and wear a go pro camera while doing it. it might be fun for about 10 minutes.

I once read an account of a guy who went boar hunting with a spear. Basically just cornered the thing and got it pissed off enough that it charged him and ran into the spear. Probably wouldn't work so well with deer.
