But what if you have served but aren't active duty and you aren't retired? Does that mean you don't count?

Nope, I was only a military contractor for 20 years but I have plenty of friends who have served but did not retire out of the military, including my father.
Instead how about allowing any whom have served and not received a dishonorable discharge? |

That's what I am thinking. I hope it was just an oversight in the printing of the flyer. I think they meant active duty and those that no longer, not necessarily retired.

Ive always seen it written that way I would bet that the average person equates Veteran with retired .mil when they are not mutually inclusive |
