What restaurant doesn't have cockroaches?

That place had good grub when I was there- now it's gonna lose clientele.

I've seen a few on post and apparently DEC found more of em. Hated those bastards when I was in Hawaii.

I suspect they are being unwittingly transported up from the lower 48 in things like furniture moves or such.  I don't think they are native to Alaska.  I'd rather have snakes and scorpions.

Only if they get imported. They don't really spread up here.

I got one in a box from outside once - my wife took the whole box right out and burned it.

I like the way your wife thinks.

Wow I'm glad I didn't go! Where's a good place to get Asian food without roaches in Fairbanks?

Asian, do you mean Chinese/Japanese/Korean or otherwise?  There are the following, not that they are all good.

Panda Garden

Bamboo Panda (same food as Panda Garden, sister restaurant)

Lin's Asian Bistro

Ajimi

Wasabi Bay

Irashai

Fushima

Fuji

Asiana

Tokyo Express

Aha Oriental Kitchen

Seoul Gate

The Thai House

Siam Square

Lemon Grass

Tiparos

Bahn Thai

Sweet Basil

Simply Thai

And of course, Shogun, the Benihana style restaurant that happens to be owned by the people who own the Mayflower...

And there is a new restaurant opened a week ago, Vietnamese PHO over on college road.  Not sure about the name.  Pho was pretty good.

No, this is just a really small town and my third brain is in my stomach.

And add Pad Thai to the list. I tend to block that one out cause it's where I met my last girlfriend/succubus from hell. At the time my second brain took over.

ETA: speaking of which the old Klondike Inn restaurant has now turned into a strip joint.  I miss the old Klondike's prime rib sandwiches and pizza's. Maybe I'll like the new place better.
