I kept hearing them from the basement. Lined the ceiling and walls with tin foil, trailer park boys style.

Oh, I thought it was just one big exercise, not  several brackets.  Go figure.

I know that feeling.  Was wondering what the hell was going on outside when the noise didn't seem like it was moving.  Never thought I'd see a F-18 gears down and scooting around Fairbanks.

I love going to the Lowes by Tukatnu (Spelling) cause they fly overhead and its the best place to see them off base. At least that i have been to. Where i won't get shot at.

At pogo we would have jets go supersonic overhead all the time. Every time some idiot would yell over the radio "the mill just blew up!!!"

Was sounding like Elmendorf at my old HQ with the planes taking off all the time.  Red Flag ended yesterday.

About 4-5 years ago there was a carrier in the gulf here for war exercises and saw flights of Hornet flying north while we were eating lunch outside, it was pretty cool.  Every few minutes a squad of 4 would fly overhead headed north, I guess because they launch them 4 at a time.
